 FAQs

  • Mobile grooming is a service that brings a professional groomer directly to your home. Our groomer arrives in a state-of-the-art mobile grooming van, equipped with all the necessary tools and supplies to groom your pet right in front of your home.

  • At our grooming salon, we provide a comprehensive range of services to keep your furry friend looking and feeling their best. From basic bathing and brushing to more specialized services like haircuts, de-shedding, and paw pad trimming, we've got your pet covered.

We understand that every pet is unique and may have specific needs, which is why we also offer additional services such as flea and tick treatments, de-matting, scissoring, piped legs, clean snout, and clean feet. Our experienced groomers pay close attention to the details and take great care in providing services like sanitation cuts around the genital area, eye cleaning, and ear cleaning to ensure your pet is as comfortable and happy as possible.

  • Yes! We absolutely love grooming cats!

  • The price of our mobile grooming services is determined by a variety of factors, such as the size, age, and breed of your furry friend, as well as how far we need to travel to reach you. The specific services you select will also play a role in the final cost. While mobile grooming may be pricier than salon grooming, it's important to consider the added benefits of personalized attention and convenience that we provide to you and your pet.

  • Our mobile groomers are skilled in handling all types of pets, even those that may have a difficult or aggressive nature. However, it's important to inform our groomers in advance if your pet has a history of biting or attacking groomers. Our team is trained and experienced in handling pets with anxious or aggressive behavior, and we take all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of both your pet and our team.

In rare cases where we are unable to groom your pet, we will stop the appointment and inform you promptly. The safety of your pet and our team is our top priority, and we always strive to provide the best possible care for your furry friend.

  • To schedule a mobile grooming appointment, you can send an inquiry form on our website or text our scheduler at 512-770-3971. It's best to book your appointment in advance, as we are typically booked at least several weeks out and unable to accommodate appointments on short notice.

  • Our groomers are able to accommodate special grooming needs, such as medicated baths or specific styling requests. Be sure to discuss your pet's needs with our groomer in advance to ensure they can be met.

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, be sure to contact our scheduler as soon as possible. We have a 24-hour cancellation policy in place. Cancellations or rescheduled appointments under 24 hours will incur a fee as it is too late for our team to fill the appointment which results in lost income for the groomer.

  • To prepare for your pet's grooming appointment, make sure they are up to date on their rabies vaccinations and have gone to the bathroom prior. We would not want to accidentally ruin a good groom with an accident!

  • Unfortunately our insurance policy does not allow for clients to be in the van. It is also not advisable for clients to be in the van as their pets will constantly look to them and want their attention. Pets feed off of their handlers and while owners are in the van the pet groomer is not the primary handler. Our one-on-one process is able to produce the most successful grooms.

  • The frequency is completely dependent on the breed but we highly advise all clients to not go past 12 weeks with grooming at the most. The majority of our regular clients are on a recurring schedule of either every 4, 6, or 8 weeks. This provides the best interval to maintain your pet’s hair.

  • We take the health and well-being of your pet seriously, which is why we do not provide anal gland expression services. This delicate procedure requires specialized training and knowledge of animal anatomy and physiology, as well as potential complications and how to handle them. Veterinary professionals are best suited to perform this procedure safely and effectively.

Furthermore, anal gland problems can sometimes be a symptom of an underlying medical condition that may require veterinary attention. Attempting to express the anal glands without recognizing these underlying issues may result in an undiagnosed and untreated condition. We prioritize the safety and health of your pet, and we recommend seeking the advice of a qualified veterinarian for any anal gland concerns.

  • Although brushing your pet's teeth may appear to be a straightforward process, it necessitates an understanding of dental anatomy, proper brushing techniques, and the symptoms of dental disease. Only a veterinarian or veterinary technician has the required training and expertise to safely and effectively perform this operation. Although routine brushing can assist in the prevention of dental disease, it does not replace a comprehensive dental examination by a veterinarian. During a dental checkup, a veterinarian can detect underlying dental issues and recommend the proper treatment. It's worth noting that groomers only perform an external brushing procedure, whereas veterinarians perform a more thorough internal and external brushing procedure.

  • Our mobile grooming operation sets itself apart from the rest by assigning dedicated groomers to each of our clients. Unlike most mobile grooming companies that group clients based on proximity, regardless of their previous groomer, we believe in building a strong, consistent relationship between our clients and their groomer. By having the same groomer provide each grooming session, we ensure that our clients receive the best possible care and the most consistent grooms. We understand that this approach may not always be the most efficient for our routes, but we believe that the quality and satisfaction of our clients are of utmost importance.

  • Brushing out matted hair during pet grooming is not recommended as it can be painful, damaging, and time-consuming. Mats can pull on the pet’s skin, causing discomfort and pain, and brushing them out can further damage the coat, leaving it frayed or even bald in some areas. Additionally, mats can trap dirt, debris, and moisture against the pet’s skin, leading to skin irritation and infection. Professional groomers shave matted hair off using electric clippers or scissors, which is faster, safer, and more effective than trying to brush out mats. Regular grooming and brushing can help prevent mats from forming in the first place and maintain a healthy, mat-free coat for the pet.
